Ida Deines

Ida J. Deines, 98, of Cheyenne passed away on December 12, 2016 at Lifecare Center of Cheyenne. She was born June 8, 1918 in Abraham, UT to John and Ida Walters. She married William "Bill" Deines on December 14, 1936 in Greeley, CO. She was a sales clerk for JC Penny's and McCleave Children's Shop. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church, Isaac Walton League, Pinochle Club, Prairie Promenaders Square Dance Club, Hummel Club and United First Ladies in Brighton, CO. She enjoyed fishing, square dancing, sewing, cooking and snowmobiling. She is survived by her daughters, Janice (Pete, who since has passed) Wiejek and Paulette (Bill) Millspaugh of Prescott, AZ; grandchildren, Tracy (Mark) Thompson, Paul (Christy) Millspaugh and Wendy Millspaugh; and great-grandchildren, Trent Thompson, Ella Millspaugh, Ada Quinn Millspaugh and Savannah Rigney. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and two sisters. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
