Irene Benskin

Irene R. Flohr Benskin, 90, of Cheyenne died November 21, 2011 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born November 13, 1921 in LaJunta, CO to Dresden T. and Margaret Belt. She married Raymond J. Flohr on February 1, 1941 in Sidney, NE, he preceded her in death. She married Harold Benskin in May 21, 1994 in Cheyenne. She was a secretary for the Wyoming Education Association. She was a member of Cheyenne Berean Church, Beta Sigma Phi, Daughters of the Revolution and the VFW Ladies Auxilary. She is survived by her daughter, Raenne (Danial) Groathouse of Laramie; grandchildren, Carrie Ngai of Mesa, AZ and Matthew Groathouse of Laramie. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Flohr and Harold Benskin; parents, Dresden T. and Margaret Belt and a brother, Taylor Mac Belt. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Schrader Chapel with Pastor Richard E. Crocker officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens.
