Irene Fleenor

Irene Fleenor, 90, of Cheyenne passed away May 20, 2019 at Granite Rehab and Wellness. She was born June 15, 1928 in Huntley, WY to Alexander and Savina Herdt, German immigrants from Russia. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and had retired as a sales clerk from Fashion Bar. She is survived by her children, Connie (Stan) Swain of Cheyenne and Shelley (Jim) Mize of Trophy Club, TX; siblings, Betty Latta of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Jake (Trina) Fleenor, Breck (Craig) McCarty, Rayme (Rich) VanDell, Jessica (John) Harrison, Mason Swain, Cody (Meagan) Adent, Hannah Adent and Sarah Adent and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 10 siblings, and her son, Jim Fleenor. Those who wish may contribute to Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, with a reception to follow in the Schrader Reception Center.
