Jackie L. Hammond, 52, of Cheyenne died January 23, 2012 in Cheyenne. He was born August 16, 1959 in Lubbock, TX to Johnny and Marilyn Poe. He married LaVeta Ann Crager on April 1, 1982 in Lufkin, TX. He was a self employed automotive mechanic. He is survived by his wife, LaVeta Ann Hammond of Cheyenne; children, Shawna Smith, William Hammond and Jackie Lynn Hammond all of Cheyenne; brothers, Jerry Poe of Lufkin, TX and James Poe of California and 3 grandchildren. A celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Schrader Reception Facility in Schrader Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader Funeral Home. Those who wish may contribute to the Jackie Hammond Memorial Fund in care of Wells Fargo Banks.
