Jacqueline Shubert

March 2, 1937 — August 9, 2014

Jacqueline Ann (Wolf) Shubert, 77, slipped away from us on the early morning of August 9 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center with her husband and a niece by her side. Jackie succumbed to residual and expanding effects of pneumonia and COPD. Jackie was born in her grandmother's house in Oak Harbor, Ohio on March 2, 1937.Shortly thereafter she moved to the family's farm south of Worland. She graduated from Worland high school and then worked her way through the University of WYO graduating with a BA-Art with no debt and paid for a car. She acquired additional hours toward an MFA. Jackie was a skilled potter and produced many stunning stained glass creations. She was an accomplished seamstress making her own clothes. While in Laramie she met her husband, Mark. They pursued their own aims and careers crossing paths frequently until they married on September 19, 1969 in Denver. They have been inseparable since with Jackie and Mark partnering in business for an exact 43 years to the day at Action Automotive, Inc. Jackie was a very determined, independent, focused, strong, giving, gracious, and beautiful individual inside and out. Jackie was a loving mentor in all her nieces and nephews lives. Jackie toured Europe on her own for several months and visited her sister and brother-in-law in Egypt on several occasions while they were with AMOCO. Jackie fondly remembered those trips. Jackie is survived by her husband, Mark; her sister, Freda Jensen; her brother, Jim; along with her nieces and nephews; Tom, Terry, Angela, Jon, Joslyn and Jessica. Jackie was proceeded in death by her parents; Fredrick David and Edna Marie (Grautman) Wolf, and her brother-in-law, Harry Jensen. As per Jackie's personal request there will be no formal service. Her family will meet at a later date to celebrate an irreplaceable life and to scatter and place her ashes at the family farm. Donations can be made to a Lung Foundations of the donor's choice.
