James B. "Jim" Barth, 74, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, formerly of Mandan, North Dakota, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018, at the Poudre Valley Hospital in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Jim was born July 19, 1943, in Flasher, North Dakota, a son of the late John and Agnes (Schaaf) Barth, Jr. Jim served honorably in the North Dakota Army National Guard in Mandan for eight years. He also worked as a truck driver for 40 years and following his retirement, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and his family. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Betty M. Barth; three children, Theresa (Casey) Seabolt, Lisa (Robert Pherson) Oleson and John (Jerilyn) Barth; four siblings, Alice Gangl, Jane Grant, Hero Barth and Mary Himmelspach; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Margaret Baumgartner. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, James L. Barth; and a grandson, James John Barth. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, February 16th at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral.
