James Asbury

James E. Asbury II, passed away on June 14, as he lost his struggle with alcohol and depression. He was born in San Diego, CA on April 23, 1963. He served honorably in the US Marine Corps and the Wyoming Army Guard, as well as time with the Cheyenne Police Dept. and the UPRR. While in the Marine Corps, he served in Bosnia/Herzegovina, Iraq, Bahrain, Somalia, and Kuwait. His favorite pastimes were all things mechanical and enjoying Wyoming and the west, riding his motorcycle. He will be missed by extended family and many close friends. He is survived by his mother, Linda of Cheyenne; daughter, Hillary of San Simeon, CA; and son, Aidan of Cheyenne; siblings, Kelli (Keith) Beinlich and Kevin of Cheyenne, and Troy of Saipan, CNMI. He was preceded in death by his father, James "Gunny" Asbury. Private family services will be held at a later date.
