James Kelley

March 18, 1957 — December 10, 2021

James Kelley was born to the late Dan Kelley, Sr. and Thelma Kelley on March 18, 1957. He departed this earthly life on Friday, December 10, 2021.

James spent his young adult life working and taking care of his father. He worked at many places as a warehouse worker and a laborer. He was an introvert who found joy in traveling to places and made Omaha, Topeka, Denver and Cheyenne his home. James was a car enthusiast and enjoyed riding around in his Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Through all his hardships, losses, and upsets in life, James kept his sense of humor and his tenacity for life. James was passionate, fun, strong-willed and unapologetically candid. He will be remembered for his candid conversations about life, his love of cars and his devotion to friends and family.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his brothers, Dan Kelley of San Diego, CA, Vernon Perkins of Cheyenne and Troy Littlejohn of Wichita, KS; sister, Nancy Osborne of Rock Springs, WY; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dan Kelley, Sr.; mother, Thelma Lee Kelley; brother, Robert Kelley; and sisters, Julia Duncan and Jessie Tuggle.

A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.
