James Lewis

James Carnell Lewis, II, 41, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away suddenly February 10, 2015, at his home. Mr. Lewis was born October 7, 1973, in Cheyenne, a son of James C. Lewis and Ozell W. Thomas. James was a graduate of Central High School and attended Laramie County Community College. His passion was participating in sports, particularly martial arts. He aspired to be a sports radio broadcaster and was scheduled for his third interview with ESPN. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother and friend who cherished his Christian faith. James is survived by his father, James C. Lewis of Cheyenne; his mother, Ozell W. Thomas of Aurora, CO; his brother, Ansara "Mickey" Lewis of Los Angeles, CA; and his sister, Khiana Lewis of Castle Rock, CO. A memory service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Hughes officiating. A reception will follow at the Schrader Reception Center. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home, Cheyenne.
