James W. "Jim" Krouch, 76, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Thursday evening, March 23, 2017, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Jim was born April 25, 1940, in Cheyenne, a son of the late Lyman D. "Mike" and Annabelle B. (Stratton) Krouch. Jim married Susan Van Arsdale on August 21, 1965, in Evergreen, Colorado. He worked for Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power as an Electrical Operation Manager and retired from Excel Energy. When his children were younger, he served as a Scout Master for Troop #116. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. He was also a parishioner of St. Mary's Cathedral. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Susan Krouch; two children, Kevin J. Krouch and wife, Ronda, and Kathleen "Katie: G. Krouch-Evans; five grandchildren, Christopher Evans, Bradley Evans, Adam Evans, Amber Adkins and Justin Adkins; and three great-grandchildren, Jace Lane-Evans, Elora Adkins and Piper Adkins. He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Brandan Evans. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 28th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral with an inurnment service to follow at the St. Mary's Columbarium.
