James "Tony" Thaut

James Anthony "Tony" Thaut, 65, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away April 20, 2019 in Cheyenne. Tony was born July 8, 1953 in Hastings, Nebraska, a son of James and Barbara Thaut. Tony was an avid outdoorsman and particularly enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting. He was a residential contractor for carpet installation. He especially loved motorcycles and rode as often as possible. He will be remembered fondly by his family and friends. Tony is survived by his son, Levi Thaut of Cheyenne; his mother, Barbara Sinner of Hastings, NE; his brother, David Thaut of Lincoln, NE; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, James Thaut, and his sister, Lisa. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home in Cheyenne.
