Rev. Thomas E. Cronkleton, Jr will officiate at a Vigil for the Deceased Friday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Schrader Chapel. Funeral Liturgy will be Saturday, May 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, followed by burial at Olivet Cemetery. Jeane Frances Accardo, 77, of 1717 Cheyenne, died peacefully on April 29, 2010 surrounded by family following a brief illness. Born March 2, 1933 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she was the youngest of eight children. Jeane attended college in Michigan and came to Cheyenne in 1954 as the bride of Phillip G. Accardo, a Cheyenne native and accomplished dentist. They were married 31 years. Jeane worked for many years as part of Delta Dental of Wyoming and retired in 2008. She was active in many local charities and organizations including Civic League and the Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and traveling and saw many parts of the world with her family that she deeply loved. As well, Jeane was a member of the Cheyenne Country Club and an avid golfer and bridge player. Jeane was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and is survived by her six children and their spouses; Tony and Becky of Denver CO, John and Marlene of Louisville KY, Anne and Bill Holmes of Cheyenne, Tom and Melanie of Casper, Bart and Kristen Hellstrom of Roeland Park KS and Susan of Coos Bay OR; and four grandchildren; Katie Smith, Natalie Accardo, Mathew Accardo and Phillip Accardo. Donations may be sent in lieu of flowers in Jeane’s memory to the Cheyenne Medical Center Foundation, for the benefit of the Acute Rehabilitation Unit, 214 East 23rd Street, Cheyenne WY 82001.
