Jeanine O'Connor, 78, of Ansley, NE died March 23, 2013 at the Jennie Helhem Medical Center in Broken Bow, NE. She was born October 27 1934 in Sargent, NE to George and Gertrude Douglas. She married John O'Connor on April 26, 1957 in Cheyenne, WY. She retired from the State of Wyoming. She was a member of the Happy Jack Country Church, and a 40 year member of Rebekah's. She is survived by her husband John O'Connor of Ansley, NE; daughters, Kim Conner of Cheyenne, Debbi Rhoad of Cheyenne; son, John I. O'Connor of Cheyenne; sisters, Velma Sandberg of Hillsdale, WY and Beverly Crawford of Axtell, NE; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father George Douglas, mother Gertrude Douglas Hart and her stepfather, Grant Hart; brothers, James Douglas, Gerald Douglas, Glen Cassel, Ronny Douglas; sister, Betty Broward; and a granddaughter, Cheryl Lynn Lamb. Visitation will be Wednesday noon to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Happy Jack Country Church, at the corner of Happy Jack Rd and Crystal Reservoir Rd. with Guy Landers officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Lamb, Justin Lamb, Daniel Lamb, Brian O'Connor, Cory O'Connor, Sean O'Connor. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tracy Pryor, Michael Conner and Meghan Engbretson. Those who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Services are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
