Jeffrey Scott DeMoney, 52, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 surrounded by family and friends after a long struggle with illness. Jeff was born on June 14, 1966 to Stan and Helen DeMoney in Cheyenne. He graduated from Cheyenne East High School and attended the University of Wyoming. Jeff was most passionate about music, being a lifelong "Beatlemanic" and hardcore classic rock enthusiast, as well as being a Boston Red Sox fanatic. Jeff was an avid writer, having authored two fiction books. He was a onetime co-owner of Danny Boy's Pizza and worked the parts counter in his father's diesel repair shop for many years. Jeff is survived by his wife, April DeMoney; children, Sara (Patrick) Flanary of Cheyenne, Jennifer (Aaron) Hulbert of Flagstaff, AZ, Steven (Katie) DeMoney of Bellingham, WA, Victoria DeMoney of Evanston, WY, Marcus (Angie) Kunda of Billings, MT, Julia (Adam) Butterfield of Belgrade, MT, and Zakery (Teianna) Snow of Billings, MT; and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Helen DeMoney; brothers, Dick (Margie) DeMoney and Steve DeMoney, all of Cheyenne; as well as numerous extended family. A memorial service for Jeff will be held by his family at the Kiwanis Community House in Lions Park on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. As the Beatles once said, "... and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make."
