Jeffrey Robert Loghry, a life-long Cheyenne resident, passed away December 23, 2016. Jeff spent many years working as a manager at Fleischli Oil. After its sale, Jeff worked as a skilled carpenter. Jeff was wildly artistic and created wonderful art pieces throughout his life. He was happiest with a fly rod in his hand and spent many hours with his dad and Uncle Jerry fishing throughout the state, but most especially enjoying the lake at Bob Greens. He loved to teach others, especially Dillon John, how to fly fish. He taught both fly fishing and fly tying for many years through Parks and Rec. When he wasn't fishing, he enjoyed riding his Harley. He is survived by his wife, Tanya, four step children (Desiree, Colton, Dalton, Candra) and eight step grandchildren, brothers Randy (Stacy) of Denver, Curt (Julie) of Dekaulb, Illinois, "brother" Bob Jensen (Jill) of Cheyenne and sister Corey Loghry (Shon) of Cheyenne. He loved his nieces and nephews, Bailey (Brentton Anthony) of Cheyenne and Levi, Logan and Avery Loghry of Denver. He appreciated the gift of the special friendships of Fred Price, Pat Gillgannon and Jose Alessandro of Cheyenne. He loved his four-legged friend, Cowboy, who was his constant companion. He was predeceased by his parents, Nancy and Jerry Loghry. Donations in Jeff's memory may be made to Project Healing Waters, 8806 Yellowstone Road, Cheyenne, WY 82009 or platteriversphwff.com. Services will be at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home on Friday, December 30, at 2:00 p.m.
