Jennie Vigil

Jennie G. Vigil, 41, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Jennie was born on April 4, 1973, in Laramie, Wyoming, a daughter of Joe Vigil and Elsie Silva. Jennie was employed at the Ivinson Memorial Home for Ladies of Laramie prior to moving to Cheyenne where she was employed with Laramie County School District #1. She took great pride as a custodial engineer at South High School. She was a member of Restoration Fellowship International and her other interests included enjoying the outdoors and her two furry companions, Loco and MaryJane. She also loved spending quality time with her family. Jennie is survived by her father, Joe Vigil of Laramie; her mother, Elsie Silva of Cheyenne; her siblings, Joe Vigil and wife, Heather, of Cheyenne, Jimmy Vigil and wife, Carrieann, of Cheyenne; Joanna Mendoza of Cheyenne; Joey Vigil and Lisa Elmore of Cheyenne; six nieces; three nephews; two great-nephews; two godchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue. A memory service will be celebrated on Friday, August 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Restoration Fellowship International with Pastor Tom Perea officiating. An interment service will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home, Cheyenne.
