Jerry Jean (Pendergast) Heimsoth, 68, died December 29th at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Jerry was born November 28, 1946 in Norfolk, Nebraska. She married Ed Heimsoth October 10, 1975. Jerry has lived in Cheyenne since 1953. She attended St. Mary's grade school and high school. She worked for J.C. Penney's, North West Transport, McGladrey Hendrickson, Old West Museum, Tami Lantz, CPA and Laramie County Precinct voting booths. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for 46 years, currently a member of Lambda Master Chapter. In 2014 she was awarded "The Beta Sigma Phi Cheyenne City Council Historian Award." She also received the high honor of "International Member of Distinction" which is a national award. She's a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Women in which she served as president for two years, Cheyenne Sewing Club, Women's Civic League of Cheyenne and active in her 1965 Class Reunion Committee. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Everett Pendergast and a granddaughter, Ella Joy Heimsoth. She is survived by her husband, Ivan Edward Heimsoth, II; children, Mandy Heimsoth and Butch Heimsoth (Angie); sister, Judy Kersey (Gordon) of Bedford, TX; grandchildren, Kelly, Alexandra, Rylea and Cooper Heimsoth; nieces, Dana Brewer and Bridget Freedman. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research. Visitation is Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue. Vigil for the Deceased is Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy is Monday at 10:00 a.m. Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Services are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
