Jerry Kleis

Jerry Kleis, 67, of Burns died September 2, 2014 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1947 in Chicago to Ole and Helen Kleis. He married Tammy Benedict on October 4, 1982 in Stone Mountain, GA. He retired from the Illinois Dept. of Transportation. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by a daughter, Jamie Mullendore of Burns; step-children, Becky Macke of Washington, Nick Boyle of Illinois and Jeff Boyle of Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Kleis and his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 14th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Redwood Bar, 2105 East Lincolnway. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
