Jerry Maroney

Jerry L. Maroney, 69, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Cheyenne Healthcare Center. Jerry was born December 23, 1948, in Grants Pass, Oregon, son of Joe and Joyce (Cotton) Maroney. Jerry served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1968-72. Upon his return home, he worked as an engineer for Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He will be remembered as a kindhearted soul who was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Jerry is survived by his wife, Colleen Maroney; son, Chad Madison; brothers, Joe Maroney, Gary Maroney and Pat Maroney; sister, Mary Maroney; brother-in law, Jim (Gayle) Collins; and grandchild, Kegan Madison. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Maroney. Private family services will be held. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
