Jerry Zang

June 20, 1950 — March 25, 2018

Jerry R. Zang, MD of Cheyenne passed away March 25, 2018 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1950 in Quincy, IL to Jack and Phyllis Zang. He married Mary Schulz on June 2, 1984 in Springfield, IL. He was the Chief of Staff at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center and was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Zang; daughters, Alison Holliman of Cheyenne, Tori (Josh) Steveson of Ft. Riley, KS and Ina (Dennis) Hollender of Copenhagen, Denmark; grandchildren, Lucas, Kiley, David, James, Ulrikka and Kajsa. Donations may be made to midwestexperience.org, which takes disabled veterans and children of deceased veterans to learn how to hunt. Memorial services will be Thursday 11:00 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church. Cremation and services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
