Joan Olesen

Cremation has taken place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory and private family services will be held. Joan B. Olesen, 73, of Cheyenne died August 9, 2010 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born May 2, 1937 to Joseph E. and Edith Brown in New York City. She married Duane H. Olesen on December 21, 1973 in Los Angeles, CA. She received her Bachelors of Arts in music from Barnhard College in NYC in l957. She was a management consultant to the mechanical construction industry. She was active with the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. She was formerly with Capitol Records, in charge of selecting recording artist and music. She is survived by her husband, Duane of Cheyenne.
