Joanne McHenry

Born: June 19, 1934 Died: November 17, 2010 Visitation: Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home. Vigil: A Vigil for the Deceased will be 6:00 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Liturgy: A Funeral Liturgy will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Father Steve Titus celebrating. Internment: Interment will follow in Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bruce McHenry, Sam McHenry, Jerry McHenry, Frank McHenry, Joe McHenry, Dan McHenry, Fred Holbrook and Fran McHenry. Joanne Rose Adragna McHenry was born June 19, 1934 to Salvatore Adragna and Concitta Pontillo Adragna. She married William James McHenry on September 1, 1956 in Cheyenne. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother to 10 children, Nana to 22 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and aunt to numerous nieces, nephews and any child in need. She was a long time member of St. Mary’s Cathedral and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the rosary Makers. She retired from the School District Food Service Dept. after serving and caring for school kids for 20 years. She is survived by 8 children, Bruce (Christina) McHenry of Cheyenne, Samuel (Maury) McHenry of Indianapolis, IN, Jerry McHenry of Cheyenne, Frank (Ilene) McHenry of Cheyenne, Julia (Robin) Robideaux of Wellington, CO, Concitta (Curt) Bastian of Burns, WY, Joe McHenry of Cheyenne, Dan (Devon) McHenry of Cheyenne; 22 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. McHenry; son John McHenry; daughter, Ann Rose McHenry; parents, Salvatore “Sam” and Concitta Adragna; brother, Joseph Adragna and a sister, Frances Adragna Holbrook.
