John E. Evans life on this earth ended on the morning on May 19, 2017, at his home with family nearby. He was born in Cheyenne at DePaul Hospital on August 25, 1963, to Delbert and Sylva (Beghetto) Evans. He lived in Cheyenne all of his life. He graduated from Seton High School in 1982, LCCC in Cheyenne and DeVry University in Dallas, TX. He was employed at Wyoming Highway Dept. previous to that at Wyoming Tile and Terrazzo Co. Inc. John loved the outdoors, all sports, hunting, fishing, winter sports and bowling. He belonged to a bowling league and liked to shoot pool. He was a fan of the Denver Bronco's, Wyoming football and Basketball. He is survived by his mother Sylvia Evans; brother, Matthew Evans; sister, Trenket and brother-in-law Bob Thompson; nieces, Jessica Thompson and Tiffany Thompson of Arkansas. Four aunts and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Delbert Evans and his faithful dog Brindle Those who wish may contribute to St. Mary's Cathedral or Davis Hospice Center. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy will be Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral with interment in Olivet Cemetery. We are so thankful for all the prayers, help and compassion shown to us and John by St. Mary's Cathedral, Davis Hospice and the employees and staff at the Wyoming Highway Department. It was a wonderful help to us during this difficult time of our lives. John was a very kind and gentle person. All who knew him learned to love him.
