John Ragland

John "Buff" Ragland, 50, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015, in Cheyenne. John was born in Denver, Colorado, on August 18, 1964. He married his best friend, DeeAnn, on January 15, 1993, in Cheyenne. He worked in the HVAC field for over 30 years. His passion was traveling with his wife, riding his Harley, fishing, camping, and sitting around the campfire with all his friends telling stories. John is survived by his wife, DeeAnn, mother, Imogene Ragland of Pine Bluffs; two children, Heather Chase of Cheyenne, and Andrew Ragland and wife, Charity, of Sioux Falls, SD; two grandchildren, Hanna and Lillian Ragland; brother, Rick Ragland of Pine Bluffs, and mother-in-law, Dee Reed. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Dean Ragland. His family will hold a service on Friday, July 17th at 10:00 a.m. at North Christian Church, 2015 Tranquility Road, Cheyenne. A reception will follow at the church. In honor of John's love for motorcycles, if you've got it, ride it to the church. Also, John would not want any of you to wear your "fancy pants" clothes. Please come casual. Donations may be made to Cheyenne Animal Shelter in remembrance of John.
