John Chester Sierocki, 54, of Cheyenne passed away November 10, 2021 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born December 4, 1966 in Saginaw, Michigan to Chester and Maria Sierocki. John served honorably in the Army National Guard for 18 years, where he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He also was a proud employee of Cheyenne Light, Fuel, and Power where he made many lifelong friends. John had a strong passion for being a “papa”, as he was very loving and involved in his grandchildren’s lives.
He is survived by his wife, Mari Sierocki; children, Jacob (Kaci) Sierocki and Kristin Sierocki; grandchildren, Killian John, Leala, Layne, and Leland; mother, Maria Sierocki; siblings, Kathy Sierocki, Karen Jepson, Nicole Novotny-Smith and Edward Novotny.
He is preceded in death by his father, Chester (Chet) Sierocki.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Lakeview Chapel. Following the service there will be a reception at the VFW Post 1881, 2816 E. 7th Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming.
