John Roger Anderson, age 75, died September 24, 2014, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Roger was born October 8, 1938, in Burns, Wyoming, to Ed C. and Grace Anderson. Roger was raised in Albin. Roger graduated from Albin High School in 1956 and owned Roger's Shop. He also farmed east of Albin until the 1960s when he moved to Colorado. Roger moved back to Albin in 1983, and joined his brother operating Albin Repair Shop. He served as an EMT on the Albin Ambulance Service and a volunteer fireman and chairman of the Board of Directors for LCFD#3. He also served as a director of the Albin Ambulance Service. In 2012, he retired from LCSD #2 as a school bus driver. Roger attended the Albin Baptist Church. He loved old cars, especially Scouts. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Raymond. Roger is survived by his wife, Judy; six children, Brett Anderso, Dirk Anderson, Shirley Tobar, Marta Grass, Robert Gorin, and Michelle Hamilton; 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his brother, Robert Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. A memory service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Albin Community Center.
