Joseph Trujillo

Joseph Pete Trujillo, known to many of his friends as "Joey", passed away in his sleep on February 23rd, 2015. Joseph was born in Ledoux, NM on September 9th, 1947. He graduated from Central High School. Joseph served his country for two years in Vietnam. He served an apprenticeship and became a Journeyman Pipe-fitter and worked on the construction of several power plants. After a time he hired on at LCCC and finished a career in the maintenance department in July of 2013. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, and VFW 4343. He enjoyed spending time camping, visiting with his friends, and visiting with his family. Joseph was beloved by his family and friends. He will be sorely missed. He is survived by his parents, Greg and Elsie Trujillo, Sister, Irene Vigil (Jerry), and his two children Greg Trujillo (Stephanie) and Sarah Lucero (Chris), grandchildren Christopher Trujillo, Cory Randall, Joseph and Jackson Lucero. In accordance with his wishes there will be no services. In lieu of gifts or donations, thoughts and prayers for the family and friends will be greatly appreciated.
