Josephine Gonzalez

Josephine Gonzalez, 96, of Cheyenne, WY, peacefully entered heavens gates on July 23, 2021 in Lakewood, CO at Bethany Rehabilitation Center.

She was born January 4, 1925 in Cheyenne, the daughter of Pedro and Sabina Ojeda.

Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonso P. Gonzalez, who passed October 1, 1996.  Josephine retired in 1989 from Laramie County School District #1 in Cheyenne.

She is survived by her children, Kathrine Gonzalez of Aurora, CO,  , Terri Trevino of Cheyenne, Sharon Ruiz of Cheyenne and Nolan Gonzalez of Aurora, CO; siblings, Bob, Louie and  Paul Ojeda of Cheyenne, Rachel Gonzales of Denver, Ramona Sausedo of Cheyenne and many grandchildren.

Josephine was loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Thursday 4:00 -8:00 p.m. at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.  A Vigil for the Deceased will be 7:00 p.m. Friday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.  A Funeral Liturgy will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Cathedral with interment to follow in Beth El Cemetery.
