Jose "Soto" R. Andrade, 81, of Cheyenne, passed away on May 31, 2016, surrounded by his large family. He was known by many as Soto. He was born on September 11, 1934, in San Jose de las Flores, Jalisco, Mexico, to Ramon Andrade and Lorenza Garcia. He married Maria Elena Rojas, with whom he has four children. Soto later married Flora Sanchez and they have a daughter together. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1997. His favorite pastimes were fishing, gardening, dancing and listening to Mexican music and watching Mexican television programs. He is survived by brother, Federico (Nena) Andrade; sisters, Refugia "Cuca" (Salvador) Andrade and Sarah (Melecio) Andrade; children, Ramon (Irma) Andrade, Leslie (Freddie) Kamai, Enedina Jimenez, Elena (Pete) Gamboa, and Mauricio Andrade; stepchildren, Cleo (Ronald) Esquibel, Peggy (Eddie) Salas, Debra (Rodolfo) Martin, and Linda Hernandez Price; 38 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. He is predeceased by his parents; wife Flora; two sisters; three stepsons; three step-grandsons; and a son-in-law. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, June 3, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with interment in Olivet Cemetery.
