Joyce Johnston

Mrs. Joyce Marie (Ebel) Johnston, 62, of Torrington, Wyoming, passed away late Wednesday evening, April 13, 2011, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Joyce was born March 13, 1949, in Bayard, Nebraska, a daughter of the late Jacob and Dorothy (Roebuck) Ebel. Joyce was a homemaker, but she also enjoyed working as a waitress at numerous restaurants. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Joyce is survived by her husband, Tom Johnston of Torrington, WY; eight children, Alfred Loader, Jr. of Sterling, CO, Terri Loader of Strum, WI, Angie Loader of Sterling, CO, Clinton Gamel of Roggen, CO, Kirk Phelan of Cheyenne, Linita Peel of Vandergrift, PA, James Timpe, II of Ft. Morgan, CO, and Shaza Horan of Ft. Morgan, CO; eleven grandchildren; a sister, Linda; and two brothers, John and Sam. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lane Loader; and a sister, Anita. A memorial reception to celebrate Joyce's life will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011, at noon at the Schrader Reception Facility. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home. A memorial reception to celebrate Joyce's life will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011, at noon at the Schrader Reception Facility. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
