Joyce Nicholls

Joyce M. Nicholls, 82, passed away October 5, 2021 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

Joyce was born April 1, 1939 in Springfield, Illinois to Frank and Leota (Liggett) Kunz. She moved to Cheyenne in 2013.

She was a very beloved mother, sister, grandma “Grams” and friend.  She had a generous heart and enjoyed volunteering and helping others.  She loved dogs, especially her corgi, Cheyenne. She loved the mountains, lakes and the good friends she met. She was an avid gardener and loved fishing.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel Nicholls and Richard Nicholls, Jr., both of Cheyenne; daughter, Christine Nicholls of San Diego, California; sister, Mary Hughes of Sullivan, Illinois; grandsons, Daniel, Timothy and Jaime, all of Decatur, IL; grandchildren, Scarlett, Cameron, Madeline and Lilly; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by all.

Memorial services to be announced at a later date.

Cremation has taken place and is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
