Karen Elizabeth Evans 72, of Cheyenne passed away on May 22, 2022, in Cheyenne after a 10-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on July 4, 1949, in Manhattan, New York.
Karen married Michael Evans on April 7, 1990, in Thousand Oaks, CA. Karen worked as a NICU nurse at Northridge Hospital in Northridge, CA until moving to Wyoming to be closer to family. She continued her nursing career in the NICU at Pourdre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO and then at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne. Karen enjoyed traveling, studying the Bible with the ladies, and cheering on her grandkids. She had a very strong faith in her Savior Jesus Christ. She looks forward to seeing all her brothers and sisters in Christ again in heaven.
Karen is survived by her husband Mike Evans of Cheyenne; son David House (Elizabeth) of Louisville, CO; daughters Kerrie Fontana (Ken) of Thousand Oaks, CA; Jennifer Freier (Rodney) of Cheyenne, WY; her parents Grace and Boyd Noah; 9 grandchildren: Elodie and Callen House; Justice and Cruz Fontana; Chase and Mckenzie Wilson; Dylan Evans, Eliza and Peyton Thompson; and 3 great grandchildren: Clayne Wilson; Knoxley and Knash Vaughan. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristina Thompson.

A private family internment will take place at Mountain View Memorial Park in Cheyenne, WY. Services are entrusted to the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
