Katherine "Katie" Villnow

Katherine "Katie" E. (Simmons) Villnow, 55, passed away September 22, 2012. Katie was born February 25, 1957, in Sherman, Texas to Delores E. (Hedderich) and LeRoy Simmons. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, cross stitch, and beating her mother at Words with Friends and especially loving her cat, Gracie. A teacher at heart, she had a passion for working with children. She will be remembered as loving, gentle and kind. Katie is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Elizabeth Walton-Foulkes; sons, Timothy Walton, Jeffrey and Daniel Corman; parents; sisters, Lisa Ooten and Tish Mayfield of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren; a niece; and two nephews. Cremation has taken place at Schrader Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Katie's family requests that contributions should be made to her favorite charity, Cheyenne Animal Shelter, 800 Southwest Drive, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82007.
