Kathleen Casteel

Kathleen G. Casteel, 66, of Cheyenne died November 26, 2012 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born January 2, 1946 in San Diego, CA to Carol Kent and Jean Casteel. She received her bachelor's degree in music from the University of Missouri and her nursing degree from Central Methodist College. She retired as a nurse manager in the healthcare field, also previously serving as a Deputy Sheriff in Boon County, MO. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Columbia, MO. Her hobbies were attending the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo, crafts, reading and her cats. She is survived by her children, Aaron Casteel-Hatfield of Cheyenne and Amanda Anderson of Columbia, MO; brother Carroll Ken Casteel, Jr. of St. Louis, MO and 2 grandchildren. Those who wish may contribute to the Davis Hospice Center in her memory. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader Funeral Home and services will be announced at a later date.
