Kathleen Needham

January 10, 1941 — February 4, 2016

Kathleen Needham, 75, of Cheyenne, Wyoming went peacefully into the arms of the lord on February 4th, 2016. She was born on January 10, 1941 in Livingston, New Jersey to Paul and Margaret Milling. Kathleen grew up in New Jersey where she enjoyed family vacations at the Jersey Shore. On February 3,1961 she married Wally Needham and gave birth to her three children Tammy, Eric, and Garry Needham. The Needham clan moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in November of 1976. Kathleen was the world's greatest mother and went above and beyond for her family. Her purpose on Earth seemed to revolve around caring for others. She was an RN for over 25 years at the Cheyenne VA Hospital working both on the surgical floor and in the extended care unit. Kathleen enjoyed serving on various committees for Saint Mary's Catholic Church including Right to Life, Womens' Guild and visiting shut-ins. In high school she played basketball and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Kathleen is survived by her three children Tammy Needham, Eric Needham, Garry (Diana) Needham, and her treasured granddaughter Emily Needham. She is also survived by her loving siblings Bill Milling of New York and Patricia Eyrich of New Jersey. Kathleen was proceeded in death by her husband Wally Needham, her parents Paul and Margaret Milling, and her beloved golden retriever Biscuit. A private Catholic mass service will be held at Saint Mary's Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Stroke Association (www.stroke.org), Wyoming Right to Life (www.wyomingrighttolife.com), or to Alliance of Therapy Dogs (www.therapydogs.com).
