Keith Henderson

Keith Murray Henderson, 57, of Cheyenne passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015. He was born on August 15, 1958, to Jacqueline and Kenneth Henderson in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He graduated from high school in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He married Karin Higgins in 1976 and two children were born of this union, Kimberly Marie Daniels and Kurtis Daniel Henderson. He joined the Air Force and served his country for ten years as an aviation mechanic. He graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in June 1990. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for American Airlines and retired in 2012. In 2009, he married Donna Domonkos. Keith was a professional climber with 10+ years of rock climbing experience. He owned and operated Climbing Adventures, a group that instructed students in rock climbing. He helped students gain strength and learn how to climb safely. He also worked for the City of Cheyenne with its Outdoor Adventure Program teaching kids to love and respect nature. Keith loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, snow-shoeing, camping, hunting, riding his motorcycle and rock climbing. On his 50th and 55th birthdays, he climbed Devil's Tower. Just before his 57th birthday he completed his first Spartan race. Keith is survived by his parents, Jacqueline and Kenneth Henderson; wife, Donna Domonkos; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Jon Daniels; son and daughter-in-law, Kurtis and Stephanie Henderson; stepson and wife, Kyle and Sarah Hoffdahl; his stepson, Adam Hoffdahl; and five granddaughters, Ciana Noviski, Jelena Daniels, Aubrey Henderson, Fern and Fawn Hoffdahl. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
