Kenneth Baker

Kenneth L. Baker, 56, of Centennial, Wyoming graduated to heaven on June 3rd, 2014 surrounded by his family and close friends. Ken was born February 18th, 1958. His parents are Janice Baker Thompson and the late John Samuel Baker. Ken graduated in 1976 from Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming where he was a proud member of the Centralaires. He went on to graduate from Christ For the Nations in Dallas, Texas and Cheyenne Bible Training Center. He met his love, Linda Rickard and married her December 22, 1989 in Jackson, Wyoming. They were married almost 25 years. Ken was a member of the Centennial Valley Community Church. He was on the Board of Light House Ministries where he looked forward to the Friday Nite Live featuring the Ranchers Gospel Band. He had a great love for fishing and enjoyed living in the mountains; "Their great adventure". He had a passion for music and his rich bass voice was enjoyed by all. He was an avid pool player participating in the Cheyenne and Laramie pool leagues. Above all BIG KEN enjoyed riding his Harley. He is survived by his wife, Linda K. Baker of Centennial, WY, his mother, Janice Baker Thompson and stepfather (Dr. Morgan W. Thompson), two sons, Jeremy (Ashley) Baker and Brandon L. Baker both of Cheyenne, and one grandson, Brandon L. Baker Jr. of Centennial. He was preceded in death by his father, John Samuel Baker. Services will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 2014 at 11am at Family Harvest Church on 23rd and Pioneer. Pastor Dennis Davis of Centennial Valley Community Church and Pastor David Kibben of Family Harvest Church will be officiating the service. Memorial contributions may be made to World Wide Water Solutions at 3532 Fireside Drive Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.
