Kenneth Harlan Trowbridge, 86, of Cheyenne died December 22 at the Davis Hospice Center. He was born June 3, 1924, in Herrick, South Dakota, the son of John and Florence (Glasgow) Trowbridge. Mr. Trowbridge was a graduate of Herrick High School. He was a sailor in the United States Navy and served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Kenneth (Ken) married June Lillian Wolfe on September 11, 1946, living in South Dakota until 1963 when they moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona. They moved with their six children to Cheyenne in 1965. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and scouring the auctions for all kinds of “treasures.” He was the proud owner of a Studebaker covered wagon. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, June; sons, Kenneth Trowbridge; Gerald Trowbridge and wife Marlene; Ronald Trowbridge and wife Robin, all of Cheyenne; Curt Trowbridge and wife Teresa, of Boone, Iowa; and daughters, Linda Ross and husband Gary, of Buhl, MN, and Shirley Glinsek and husband Pat, of Ely, MN; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
