Kent D. Woodworth, 71, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away October 30, 2021 at the Life Care Center of Cheyenne.
Kent was born June 14, 1950 in Cheyenne, a son of the late Paul J. and Verda N. “Dot” (Shotliff) Woodworth, Jr.
Kent was a very a proud phone man. He did everything for the phone company such as working as a lineman, to construction, to fiber installation. He retired in 2009. His many interests included working with wood and building things in his garage, whittling, working on computers such as The Prairie Chip in the 1980s before the internet, photography, bicycling, camping, fishing, hunting and playing cribbage. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, cousin and friend.
Kent is survived by his daughter, Amber (Dave); four grandchildren, Lynda, Chris, Adam and Jacob; cousins, Dave, Colleen, Carl and Gayle; and a special kitty friend, Luna.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dot; his grandparents; and his former wife, Linda.
A celebration of Kent’s life will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Schrader Reception Center. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
