Kevin Olson

Kevin Francis Olson, 55, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away February 9th, 2011. Kevin was born to Carl and Freda (Rust) Olson on November 5, 1955 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Kevin was raised in the family restaurant in Willow Lake, South Dakota. He attended Vo-Tech for culinary arts in Mitchell, South Dakota. Kevin was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. He is survived by his children, Heather (Kevin) Johnson of Chicago, Illinois, Jasmine Olson of Rapid City, South Dakota, Kara, Garrett, Quintin, Jessi and Jed Olson of Cheyenne, Wyoming; sister Karla (Dan ) Pitts of Mitchell, South Dakota; uncle Emil Rust of Hacienda Heights, California; aunt Ellen Rust of Clear Lake, South Dakota; grandchildren Marcus, Jade and Brady Johnson of Chicago, Illinois and Haven McQuin of Cheyenne, Wyoming as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother Karl and nephew Nathan Olson and a niece, Kadence Karpinske. A private family service will be held in July in Estelline, South Dakota.
