Kristine Kia-Borell

Kristine Kiá-Borell, 67, of Cheyenne died September 13, 2015 in Burns, WY. She was born Feb. 22, 1948 in Cochituate, MA the daughter of Richard and Barbara (Perry) Kohler. Kristine worked as a social worker for VISTA and the Washington State Literacy program. She was instrumental in the founding of Dorothy's Kitchen in Chadron, NE. On Sept. 7, 1992 she married David D. Borell in Colfax, WA Kristine is survived by her husband David of Cheyenne, 4 sons Robert, Michael, Joshua and Benjamin, and 1 daughter Jennifer. Also surviving is a sister Karen and half-sister Sherry and 8 grandchildren. Kristine was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 sister Kim. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept 26, at 11 a.m. at the Community of Christ Church 3525 McCann Ave. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
