Lanney D Ross

Lanney D Ross, known also as LD, was born on December 21, 1943, in Eugene, Oregon. He passed away on February 4, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, leaving behind a legacy marked by dedication and versatility.

Throughout his career, Lanney was a skilled machinist and a dedicated industrial electrician for fifty years. His extensive experience also extended to gunsmithing, showcasing his remarkable ability to fix or build just about anything. Lanney's work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident in every project he undertook, and he took great pride in being able to tackle even the most complex challenges.

Lanney pursued his education with determination, attending two years of college. This foundation supported his vast technical skills and contributed to his impressive accomplishments throughout his career. Among his proudest achievements was his belief that he could accomplish anything he set his mind to, an ethos that inspired both his family and friends.

In his leisure time, Lanney enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including shooting, motorcycles, and woodworking. These interests not only reflected his hands-on nature but also allowed him to connect with others who shared similar passions.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Ross; his daughters, Shaunna Hill and CiCi Ross; as well as his stepson, Robert Darling, and stepdaughter, Elizabeth Darling. Lanney's family will forever cherish the memories of his support and love.
