Larry Poelma

Larry A. Poelma, 70, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in Cheyenne, WY. Larry was born to Arnoul and Edna Poelma on June 18, 1949 in Cheyenne. He married Amy Murbach on June 11, 1994. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Wyoming Auto Racing Association. He is survived by his loving wife Amy Poelma of Carpenter; daughter, Nicolle (Glen) Wagner of Cheyenne, stepchildren, Amber (Dwayne) Korgan of Briggsdale, CO, and Chris (Xiomy) Butler of Windsor, CO; grandchildren, Cameron Cox, Jace Cox, Keira Wagner, Kaycie, Da Vanie, and Dylan; sisters, Jane (Bill) Lambert of Ft. Collins, Mary Hunter of Wichita, KS, and Carolyn (Mike) Madden of Cheyenne; brothers, Mike (Caroline) Poelma of Carpenter, Don (Gayle) Poelma of Cheyenne, Paul (Sharon) Poelma of Carpenter, and Edwin (Hope) Poelma of Carpenter;amd numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Larry is preceded in death by his parents; his sister Cynthia Ogg, and brother's in law Randy Hunter and Paul Ogg. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 2-5:00 p.m. with a Vigil for the Deceased to be recited at 3:00 p.m. at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Pine Bluffs at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Pine Bluffs Cemetery with a luncheon reception to follow. The family requests casual attire.
