Laura Hayes

Laura Ruth Hayes, 89, of Cheyenne passed away June 28, 2017 in Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Laura was born November 28, 1927, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Edward and Ruth Morgan. She married Thomas G. Hayes on July 30, 1948, in Birmingham. Laura worked as an art dealer and framer for Wild Goose Gallery. She was a member of the Wyoming Press Women. Laura was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Edna M. Parks and Edward W. Morgan Jr. She is survived by husband, Thomas Hayes; son, Dwight (Kathleen) Hayes; grandchildren, Susan (Matt) Schroer and Stephen (Sarah) Hayes; great-grandchildren, Lily Schroer, Kayden Schroer, Allison Hayes and Adeline Hayes; and sister, Elizabeth Bigbee of Boaz, Alabama. A memory service will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the Schrader Reception Center. Those who wish may contribute to the Alzheimer's Association. Cremation and services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby Funeral Home.
