Lawrence M. Anaya, 60, of Cheyenne passed away to our Heavenly Father on February 3, 2017 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 9, 1956 in Las Vegas, NM to Lucio Montoya and Estella Anaya. He owned L.A. Body Shop and was a member of All Saints Church. He was an avid hunter, collector and restorer of antiques & classic cars, homing pigeons and his pastime of visiting casinos. His other passion was his two dogs, two cats, and chickens who were like his children to him. He is survived by his mother, Estella Anaya of Cheyenne; significant other, Margaret Lovato; children, Amy and Tracy Lovato; grandchildren, Nickolas and Abriyana Segura; siblings, Abel (Erminia), John (Maria), Leo, Delia (Vincent), Jessie (Steve), Frances (Ramon), George, Bernadette (Ray), Jane Antoinette all of Cheyenne; numerous nieces, nephews and other family. He was preceded by his father, Lucio; brother, Gonzalo "Chalo" Anaya; and niece Jennifer Anaya. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center in care of Cheyenne Medical Foundation. A Vigil for the deceased will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy will be 10:30 Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
