Lela Allyn

Lela Margaret Allyn, 93, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died August 2, 2015, at Life Care of Cheyenne. Lela was born on March 11, 1922, in Piedmont, Kansas, to Oliver Francis and Sarah Elizabeth (Moore) Wade. On July 1, 1966, she married Frank R. Allyn in Cheyenne. Lela worked for many years for the American National Bank in Cheyenne. She was a member of First Christian Church, Eagles Auxiliary #128, Cheyenne Mineral and Gem Society, Wyoming Archeological Society and Cheyenne Women's Travel Club. Lela is survived by her son, Ron Hape of Cheyenne; a daughter, Margaret Ann Wehrle of Ridgeville, IN; three sisters, Carol Olson and Myrtle Becker, both of Eureka, KS, and Verna Agard of Andover, KS; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great -grandchildren. Lela was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1996; her parents; five brothers; and four sisters. A funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Beth El Cemetery.
