Leona Blankenship

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home with services to be announced at a later date. Cremation will take place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Leona M. Blankenship died April 9, 2010 at Mountain Towers Healthcare. She was born October 16, 1939, in Bassett, Nebraska to Gottfried and Mae Mauch. She was a child care provider and a member of the Moose Auxiliary. She is survived by five children, Richard John Wright, Randy Lee Wright, Ronald Wayne Betts, Debbie Lee Anderson-Phillips and Kimberly Lynn Blankenship; eleven grandchildren, Isaac Landon Wright, Jesse Lee Wright, Richard John Wright, Jr., Randy Wayne Wright, Michelle Dawn Wright, Trevor Blackburn, Kenny McCall, Klairrissa Lee McCall, Tyler Lee Blankenship, Robert Lee Pountney III and Crystal Lee Pountney; two Great Grandchildren, Caleb Lee Wright and Daniel Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Gladess Mauch; and two brothers, Swede Mauch and Doc Mauch.
