LeRoy Person

LeRoy A. Person, 78, of Albin passed away September 7, 2012 at Davis Hospice Center. He was born March 17, 1934 in Kimball, NE to Carl and Helen (Curran) Person. After graduating from Albin High School, LeRoy attended the University of Wyoming for one year. He went into the Army for two years and served in the Korean Conflict. He farmed and was a welder. He is survived by his daughter, Jean Cochran and husband, Jim of Cheyenne; son Jerry Person of Cheyenne; his grandchildren, Amy Merideth and husband, James, of Cheyenne, Elizabeth Cochran of Laramie and Casey Person of Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Lawrence Person. Those who wish may contribute to the Albin Ambulance Fund. Interment of his urn will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Albin Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service and reception at 11:00 a.m. in the Albin Community Center. Pastor Dan DeBruyn will officiate the services. Services and cremation are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
