Leslie Cuthbert

Leslie A. Cuthbert, age 90, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2019. Leslie was born December 4, 1928 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He graduated from Cheyenne High School and attended University of Wyoming. Leslie joined the US Air Force and served our country during the Korean War. Following his service time, Leslie worked many years as a local meat cutter, market manager and restaurant owner, here in Cheyenne. In March 1952, married the love of his life, Betty Ausman and together they had six children. Leslie loved the Lord and raised his family in a Christian home. In his younger years, Leslie was a Boy Scout cub master, he volunteered with Cheyenne Frontier Days Indians Committee, and was always an active member of his church. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, rock and coin collecting, he was a train enthusiast and mostly he loved spending time with family and friends. He always had a wonderful outlook on life and everyone loved his jokes, laughter, silly songs and stories. He was a treasured soul, who will be forever loved and missed. He is survived by his children; Linda (Dan) Driggs of Indiana, Diana Cuthbert of Torrington, Michael (Pamela) Cuthbert of Cheyenne, Susan (Craig) Boyce of Cheyenne, Cathy Royer of Cheyenne, and David (Shannon) Cuthbert of Cheyenne; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arlington and Gladys Cuthbert; his wife, Betty Cuthbert; his second wife, Phyllis Cuthbert; and his oldest son and best friend, Les Cuthbert, Jr. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, October 29, at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at Schrader Reception Center.
