Lester R. Myers, 96, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away early Sunday morning, March 11, 2018, at Cheyenne Healthcare Center. Lester was born October 17, 1921, in Kansas, a son of the late Ralph D. and Emma B. (Fielder) Myers. Lester served honorably in the United States Army Air Corps. He worked as a warehouseman for F.E. Warren Air Force Base. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Frontier Methodist Church. His many interests included fishing, hunting, camping, traveling and sightseeing. Lester is survived by his loving wife, Elva L. (Breazeale) Myers of Cheyenne; two sons, Martin (Debra) Myers of Cheyenne and Ralph (Caroline) Myers of Brighton, CO; sister, Viola Kerr of Cheyenne; three grandchildren, Michael Myers, Michelle Stratton and Becky Breshahan; and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Myers; and grandson, Scott Allen Myers. A memory service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Cremation will follow under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
